About Helmet Africans
Helmet Africa is a blog that highlights the performance of Africans who play American football. The focus is on professionals. From time to time, we shall also feature players who play at the college (university) level; this level is the unofficial training ground for American professional football.
Football, the American version is the most popular sport in the country. It is played mostly with the hand, unlike soccer, which is the name Americans call the game that the rest of the world calls football.
Africans in American Football
A growing number of Africans – mostly Nigerians – are making names for themselves in American football. These young people were born in the USA or came over at a young age. Their parents, who are mostly first generation immigrants, often don’t understand the game and prefer soccer. Helmet Africans will share the stories of these players.
We will also provide pointers that explain the game.[/vc_column_text][vc_empty_space height=”36px”][button size=”large” target=”_self” hover_type=”default” text=”Read the Blog” link=”https://helmetafricans.com/blog/”][/qode_elements_holder_item][/qode_elements_holder][/vc_column][/vc_row]
